How to Mark for Addition of New Floor

Steps

1. Marking Proposed Work
   1. For Each Proposed Work
      1. Enter the required details in the mandatory fields:
         1. Proposed Work Type
         2. Proposed Work Number
      2. Select the appropriate Development Stage:
         1. If the proposed work represents a building in which floor is added, choose ALTERED.
         2. If the proposed work represents an existing building which has Occupancy Certificate, choose EXISTING.
         3. If the proposed work represents an existing building which did not receive Occupancy Certificate, choose PERMITTED
      3. When the Development Stage is EXISTING or PERMITTED, need to provide additional details of the existing building. This can be done in two ways:
         1. BUILDING_PLAN_AVAILABLE - Select this if the complete building plan is available in the drawing.
         2. FILL_DETAILS_IN_FORM - Select this if the building plan is unavailable; instead, fill in the necessary details about the existing building.
2. Marking Floor in Section
   1. For Each Floor in Section:
      1. Enter the required details in the mandatory fields:
         1. Floor Type
         2. Floor Concession Type
      2. Tick the checkbox if the current floor should be considered the Ground Floor.
      3. Select the appropriate Development Stage:
         1. If the floor is newly added in building, choose PROPOSED.
         2. If the floor belongs to an existing building which has Occupancy Certificate, choose EXISTING.

Checkpoints

1. If a new floor is added, ensure that the building containing it is marked as ALTERED.
2. A full building plan must be provided for all the buildings where a floor is added.
3. Ensure buildings are mapped to proposed works marked as:
   1. PROPOSED
   2. ALTERED
   3. EXISTING (only if a building plan is available)
   4. PERMITTED (only if a building plan is available)

Note

1. If building does not have an Occupancy Certificate, then development stage of it's proposed work must be selected as PERMITTED.
2. If building containing the floor does not have an Occupancy Certificate, then development stage of the floor must be selected as PERMITTED.
